Curriculum, Instruction and Technology Integration Resources

Curriculum, Instruction and Technology Integration Programs

Beginning in 2010, implementation phases for providing technology tools in classroom instruction were initiated with the focus on creating a classroom standard (teacher MacBook, interactive whiteboard (SMART) and a document camera (HoverCam or AverVision) and providing the training and support to assist teachers with the use of these tools.
In 2012, 1,000 iPads (in carts) and 1,035 MacBooks (in carts) were distributed throughout the schools -- providing additional access to mobile devices. Professional development supported the training and integration of these tools into the classroom instruction along with continued support of the SMARTboard, and document camera. Below are the applications and resources for this initiative.
In summer of 2015, all district staff were provided new MacBook Airs as the initial phase of Seaman's 2020 Vision: Learning Without Limits initative. The next intended phase would be to provide all students in grades 7-12 a digital learning device starting in the 2016-2017 school year, while increasing the number of available devices at the elementary buildings.
